What does the service include?
No obligation- initial design brief meeting at our offices. At
this meeting we will walk you around our internal & external
showroom. Then with a nice coffee in hand we will show you relevant
home designs on the big screen, of course along with pricing
achieved for each design. This way you can simply see that H.B.A is
the right place to be. Within a few days of this meeting we will
provide you a detailed concept plan based on our design brief still
absolutely free of obligation. If you are impressed at this stage
(you will be!) then & only then we will require a fee to cover
our costs. The best part is with the savings $$$$ that we will
provide you the cost of our services are more than covered! In many
case we have saved clients literally hundreds of thousands of

Designers Accountable to Your Budget
Unfortunately we hear all too often about people in the
unfortunate position of having paid (sometimes tens of thousands of
dollars!) for designs they simply can't afford. Our system has
between 1000 - 2000 quotes through each year so our budget figures
are based on actual current facts & figures not guess work
& you can bet they will be extremely accurate. And of course
don't forget with our competitive tendering service, your budget
will buy more than you can get elsewhere!
Maximise the potential of your block
Hardly any block is flat and perfectly rectangular, with North
in the right direction! With an individual design, you don't need
to make expensive variations to a standard plan, and we will always
design the home to make the most of awkward angles, sloping blocks,
and of course taking into account the solar orientation of your
block. This will help you save money and use the block in the best

Solar Passive Design
All of our designers are HIA Green smart accredited, and we take
care to make sure we approach every new home design from an
environmentally friendly point of view. Solar orientation, cross
ventilation, material specification and more are considered to
improve your comfort and help the environment. We design and make
recommendations to achieve a minimum 6 Star Energy Efficiency
wherever possible. H.B.A welcome clients wishing to push the

copyright
Design your new home with unbiased, expert advice from Home
Builders Advantage, then only choose a builder once you're
completely happy with the design. If you design the home directly
with the builder, they own the copyright to your plans, which means
they are not motivated to give you a good price. They are also
biased to their preferred way of building your home, so make sure
you get the right advice and design first, before
approaching the builders.
